New York, September 10, 2007 - theSpaBiz.com announced today the launching of their new website to the internet as the resource for spa industry professionals.

Jo Garner, President of theSpaBiz.com, states “We look forward to assisting spa professionals with the day-to-day stresses of working and operating a spa business.  We believe that information and education is the key to stress reduction and success as a spa employee or spa business owner.”

With that focus in mind, theSpaBiz.com website was constructed with two main components, one link for Spa Managers and a second for Spa Therapists.  Clicking on the Spa Manager’s link will take the manager or business owner to a “home” page within the site with free informative articles specifically catering to these spa professional’s needs and interests.  The same is true of the Spa Therapist’s link, opening up a free resource exclusively for the spa technician.

Ms. Garner said the vision and evolution of theSpaBiz.com developed naturally from her own experiences and accomplishments in the spa industry over the past 16 years as a Skin Care Therapist and a Spa Director, both in the resort spa area of Maui, Hawaii and the day spa environment of New York City.

It is her wish to bring the spa community together to share experiences, educate and support one another, so the types of articles and their content are the first focus of the site.  theSpaBiz.com wants to hear from other spa professionals and those in the health, wellness and beauty industry to continually add to the sites content.  “We all have a story or experiences to share”, states Jo, “we all can add something of value to help out our fellow managers or therapists, especially for newcomers to the industry.”

Another important vision of the site is in the area of networking.  In addition to posting spa, health and wellness articles for managers, owners and spa therapists, theSpaBiz.com will become the resource for career and educational postings, as well as industry events.  “While there are other spa industry sites performing similar functions on their sites, we have found that these postings are often outdated.  Our plan is to build a dynamic, continually updated community where professionals can post and read about upcoming events and career postings in our industry”, explains Jo.

Readers who are interested in keeping informed about what is happening at theSpaBiz.com should register on theSpaBiz.com’s registration page.  http://www.thespabiz.com/register.html
